50th Anniversary
Hall & Foreman completes its 50th year of business focused on honoring the past and building the future. Since its founding in 1961, the firm has continually adapted to meet the challenges of a changing world. From line-work drawn by hand to BIM and 3D CAD software programs, the tools of the industry have changed. So too, have building requirements, which now include increasingly complex codes and processes that include stringent water quality management efforts. Through it all, the firm has been innovative and moved forward. Visit the Hall & Foreman Timeline for a recap of our successes.
Hall & Foreman was founded by Jack Hall, former Assistant Public Works Director for the City of Santa Ana. The firm incorporated in 1963 after Hugh Foreman, Santa Ana’s Public Works Director and City Engineer, and George Shambeck, Orange County Flood Control District’s Senior Right-of-Way Engineer, joined Mr. Hall. Passed on to a new era of engineers and entrepreneurs, today the firm is lead by principals with backgrounds ranging from engineering and surveying, to planning and business management.
Over the years, Hall & Foreman has been a key part Southern California’s development. Watch the video that recaps our first 50 years. Our talent is showcased on numerous master planned residential communities, retail, commercial, and industrial sites. We have also worked with many municipalities including cities, public agencies, and with community college and school districts to provide infrastructure support and water quality management for modernization, rehabilitation, and capital improvement programs. Now, we set our sights on designing and building the next 50 years.
