Foxborough Industrial Park
Victorville, Southern California Logistics Airport
The Southern California Logistics Airport (SCLA) was born out of the decommissioning of the George Air Force Base in Victorville. Hall & Foreman was brought in early in the redevelopment process to participate in transforming the base into an industrial / distribution center. The team’s inaugural involvement was in the planning and development of the distribution centers in the Foxborough Industrial Park. Hall & Foreman had direct involvement with the creation of over 2 million square feet of commercial and distribution building space for tenants that include Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Aspen Distribution, Con-Agra Foods, and Nutro Pet Food Products. The Foxborough Industrial Park was developed with direct railroad access to the BNSF railroad via a new railroad spur.
Hall & Foreman also provided design and engineering services for on and off-site improvements for the distribution center and its tenants. Services included improvements at the Santa Fe Channel and coordination with the railroad consultant. In addition, street, storm drain, sewer, and water improvement plans were complete. The team provided design surveying and construction staking services for this project.
