Ikea in Orange County is one of Hall & Foreman’s retail projects. The firm prepared the surcharge grading plans, precise grading plans, private storm drain plans, water plans, sewer plans, hydrology calculation, hydraulic calculations, SWPPP, NOI, WQMP for this 15-acre retail site in Costa Mesa. Unique to this project was coordinating with Caltrans and the County of Orange on the grading and drainage design. The agencies were widening and reconfiguring the adjoining Harbor Blvd / I-405 interchange and replacing existing unlined drainage channels with covered box culverts.
