Located on Historic Route 66 is Mercury Insurance’s Inland Empire Headquarters. This 100,000 square foot, 2-story office building is located on a 12-acre site. The sheer size of the building is impressive to onlookers and passersby. But it is the attention to detail, which is evident in the distinctive prairie style architecture, exceptional landscaping, symmetrical parking lots, lighted walkways, and elaborate front entrance water fountain, that have made this site an area focal point and source of pride.
Hall & Foreman provided civil engineering services which included design of all on-site and off-site improvements including precise grading, earthwork analysis, hydrology and hydraulics, composite utility plan, street improvement plans, striping, coordination with Caltrans, preparation of a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, and relocation of a public storm drain that crossed the middle of the site.
