Solair Wilshire

The Solair Wilshire project was recognized by California Construction Magazine with an Award of Merit: Multi-Family Residential/Hospitality. Hall & Foreman provided both tentative and final vertical airspace tract mapping and preliminary engineering services as part of the entitlement support for this urban infill, mixed-use project. Located on Wilshire, above a subway line, it includes a 22-story high rise with 780,000 square feet of multifamily space, 50,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space, common areas open to the public, subterranean parking, and a transit zone. Our team provided design for onsite grading and drainage plans as well as offsite street improvements including street widening, sidewalk, curb & gutter construction, street light relocation, and intersection traffic signal modification. Services also involved development of sewer and water plans, hydrology and hydraulic analysis, and a SUSMP report. Sustainable design features included storm water treatment and storm water conservation as well as water/irrigation conservation.
