PACE Investigative Services, Inc., a division of Hall & Foreman, Inc., provides Clients with a single resource to handle all of their technical investigative needs. PACE’s multi-disciplined team of experienced professionals apply their analytical skills to identify, define, and explain the technical mysteries and failures that give rise to insurance claims and legal actions. PACE’s services are provided to diverse Clients in Southern California from attorneys and insurance companies to private parties and governmental agencies. PACE also offers a variety of studies, reviews, videos, laboratory testing, consultation, litigation support, and expert testimony to ensure accurate and timely services, as requested, including a statement of conclusions and opinions that represent the case or project.

Specific Investigative Service Disciplines Include:

  • Civil/Structural/Architectural
    • PACE Investigative Service's Civil, Structural, and Architectural experts have dealt with hundreds of investigations regarding Structural Analysis and Failures, Civil Engineering and Site Work Review, Construction Failures and Defects, Earthquake Damage Assessment, Storm Damage, Repair Analysis, etc.
  • Surveying
    • PACE Investigative Service's surveying department has completed a variety of investigations involving property line disputes, the location of property lines from resulting slope failures , and preparation of Topographic Surveys and Maps, Title Research and Examination. PACE has also performed regional settlement monitoring programs for large-scale, public works projects.
  • Slip, Trip, and Fall
    • PACE Investigative Services provides Slip, Trip, & Fall investigations along with Building Code compliance and violations. Our engineers are available to further provide documentation review, site investigations, preliminary verbal and written reports, sketches and drawings, laboratory testing, technical consultation, litigation support, and Expert Witness testimony.
  • Soils/Geology
    • PACE Investigative Service's soils and geology professionals can provide investigations involving slope failures, landslides, subsidence, and other issues of earth movement. PACE Investigative Services has the ability to monitor earth movement, check the structure's levelness with a Manometer Survey, and prepare a complete soils report. The PACE soils and geology team is also available for Expert Witness testimony.
