Covenant Hills Village at Ladera Ranch

Covenant Hills is an exclusive, gated village of Ladera Ranch in Orange County, California.  Challenges of the project included rugged topography, unstable soils, significant volumes of earthwork, and stringent storm water quality standards.

The development required nearly 50 million cubic years of earthwork and at its peak, 200,000 cubic yards of earth were moved daily.  The grading operation, which continued year-round for four years, was supported by a proactive sediment control plan.

Covenant Hills, like the rest of Ladera Ranch, has a showcase stormwater system.  It  integrates water quality features with flood control facilities, which have protected downstream communities and created a beautiful riverine community amenity.
